Pilgrimage is such a rich, timeless and wonderful practice in and of itself. Then there are the truly wonderful things that one studies, contemplates and meditates upon whilst on pilgrimage. These talks cover the most important incidents of Lord Buddha's Life, as well as his most central Teachings. Starting with the Journal Readings would be a good way to get a sense for the practice of Pilgrimage. Then by following the talks in order you may learn a great deal about the historical Buddha's life. Otherwise, listen to a theme that is of interest and simply 'dive in' there! You'll have to be a little bit patient with the ambient noise, always present in India. But with the right attitude, these atmospheric sounds can help transport you more fully into the rich experience of pilgrimage.
