Greetings Dear Fellow Practitioners,
I hope everyone is well.
A Pilgrimage to China followed by illness (flu) slowed me down with this particular upload. But it's ready for sharing now I'm feeling well again too.
The talk I am sharing on this occasion was given to a group of sincere meditators during an intensive 9 day meditation retreat. The subject is 'The Anapanasati Sutta' – Lord Buddha's detailed instructions regarding breath Meditation.
It has taken me a long time to have the courage to offer my comments about what I think the Lord Buddha is saying in this particular Sutta. (Because it is such a central one commented upon already by many great scholars) But after practicing Breath Meditation several times a day for more than twenty years myself now, it is probably the case that I have something to say that might be useful and encouraging.
Certainly I hope that something in this talk may be useful and encouraging!
Ajahn Achalo Bhikkhu
