Greetings fellow practitioners,
I write this update notice that I will shortly forward to our dear webmaster on the eve before traveling to Bodhgaya for another intensive personal meditation retreat. If all has gone well by the time this lands in your inbox, I will have been meditating for approximately 10 hours per day for the past ten days… and will be hoping to continue for another 25 days or so. Taking breaks from various duties and making time to focus exclusively upon meditation practice is important for me too. Your good wishes and metta Blessings would be appreciated at this time! Just as I will be making dedications and sharing merits to all beings kammically connected to me… I ask that you might bring me to mind occasionally as well.
"May Ajahn have good health and continue to grow in Dhamma so that he may be able to continue to encourage others" THANKYOU!
These trips to India are intense… so I am experiencing the by now very familiar simultaneous excitement and trepidation. The amount of supplements I have packed is embarrassing! Last night I finished editing a Dhamma Talk given on retreat in Malaysia that, if all goes well will arrive in your inbox on the day that I am boarding the plane in India and making my way back to Thailand around mid-March. May all go well!
So on this occasion I am sharing the remainder of the 'Chanting with Soundscape' collaboration between Christopher Conway and myself. The chants shared today reference the Path of cultivating the Four Brahma Viharas (Loving-Kindness, Compassion, Altruistic Joy, Equanimity) and developing the Ten Perfections (Paramis) as the means for which minds become spiritually ripe for Insight and Liberation. I am happy to share a little bit of India and Tibet with you all here as well!
The new Chants are…
May these Chants with Soundscape serve as a source of encouragement to you in your practice.
